Kim Hyun Joong to Hold Special Free Live Concert in Japan in July
Kim Hyun Joong fans in Japan will have the opportunity to see the singer live in concert - and for free!
Kim Hyun Joong’s agency, Key East revealed on May 18 that the singer would be holding a free live concert in July.
According to Key East, the live concert was set up as a way to showcase Kim Hyun Joong’s upcoming new single album Heat and will be held on July 15 at Saitama Super Arena.
Among those who purchase Kim Hyun Joong’s Heat’s special package as a pre-order or regular order, 32,000 will be selected from a lottery and receive invitation to the live concert.
The concert will be divided into two parts and Kim Hyun Joong is planning to perform some ten different songs including his new single, Heat.
Kim Hyun Joong is currently in the middle of his Asia fan meeting tour and will hold fan meets in Taiwan on May 18 and 19.

Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong will be holding a free concert in Japan this July!
Kim Hyun Joong’s agency Key East reported on May 18th, “We are planning to hold a showcase to commemorate Kim Hyung Joong’s second Japanese single ‘HEAT‘ at the Saitama Super Arena, and hold a free concert at the same time.”
“The event will take place in two sessions on July 15th,” they continued.
This Japanese concert is a large-scale event, where 32,000 of his fans who purchased his packaged album of both the Korean and Japanese versions were selected to attend at no additional charge.
Not only will the singer be performing 14 songs live including his new single “Heat“, he will also be inviting Japanese musician B’z to stand on stage with him. There are a variety of special events also prepared that will be entertaining for the fans.
In related news, Kim Hyun Joong has been touring countries in Asia to hold fan meets since last May. He recently completed fan meets in Hong Kong and Singapore, and will be in Taiwan on the 18th and 19th.

‘Smiling Prince’ Kim Hyun Joong recently moved the hearts of the public as he once again displayed his infinite love for fans.
On May 24th, a clip was uploaded on an online community board with the title, ‘Kim Hyun Joong receiving a fan letter without his guards knowing, very touching‘.

Guess placing first on the Oricon’s Daily DVD Chart just wasn′t enough for Kim Hyun Joong.
According to the Oricon Chart on May 23, Kim Hyun Joong’s concert DVD titled First Impact sold 16,000 copies in the first week of its release, confidently taking the number one spot for the Overall DVD Chart.
This is the second time a foreign artist has taken the number one spot on the charts, the first being Michael Jackson, with his 2011 DVD. The highest a Korean artist has gotten on this particular chart was BoA in 2003 when she placed third for her DVD, 8 Miles and More. Kim Hyun Joong has set a new record of being the first Korean to ever take the number one spot.
The content of First Impact included footage from Kim Hyun Joong’s Japanese concert tour in November of 2011, where he traveled to eight different cities, specifically focusing on his Yokohoma Arena concert in February.
While setting new records and getting published in famous news publication, Kim Hyun Joong is preparing to release a new Japanese single album titled Heat on July 4.

Kim Hyun Joong recently became the first Korean solo artist to reach #1 on Japan’s famous Oricon DVD chart.
Kim Hyun Joong’s tour DVD, ‘First Impact‘, sold an amazing 16,000 copies in the first week of its release, claiming the top spot on the Oricon chart on the 23rd.
The only other foreign solo artist who made the top spot on Japan’s Oricon chart is Michael Jackson whose DVD reached #1 twice. In 2003, BoA reached #3 on the chart with her ‘8 Miles and More‘ DVD.

Comedian Jung Jun Ha finally tied the knot on May 20th and many celebrities attended his wedding ceremony to congratulate the funnyman including, Kim Hyun Joong and Kang Ho Dong.
Before the ceremony began, a press conference was held in addition to congratulatory messages from guests. Kim Hyun Joong attended the event and commented, “I hope Jung Jun Ha hyungnim lives happily for a long time and I hope the two of them love each other and become joyful for a million years“. Next, Kang Ho Dong appeared and left a message, saying, “I was invited by Jung Jun Ha and came to congratulate him. I honestly congratulate him on his marriage and I hope Jung Jun Ha gives a lot of love to his wife. Close Encounter
Hallyu wave idol Kim Hyun Joong redefined the meaning of fan meetings with a mini concert and a personal high-five with each fan. Jasmine Goh recounts the heartwarming highlights of the night.
Even after the last of two encores was belted out, no one left their seats. All stayed in anticipation of a chance to get up close and personal with their idol. Eventually, each of the 3000 people at the indoor stadium got what they waited for - a high-five or handshake with Korean star Kim Hyun Joong. And this was after he had danced, sang and delighted his fans with games and a string of surprises.
Surprise#1 English lyrics
He got the audience to sing along to a translation of a line from the song 'Happiness Is'. The line "Happiness with you baby, I can't even imagine it" got his fans breaking into a cheerful chorus.
Surprise#2 Revelation
He revealed through a pre-recorded video, the five things that he'd do for his future girlfriend: cooking for her, giving her romantic gifts, singing to her, writing love letters to her, and mimicking scenes from movies with her. The last got the audience roaring with laughter as he did a parody of the famous scene from Titanic with a huge white stuffed bear.
Surprise#3 Giant Gift
That huge white stuffed bear made an appearance as he sang the hit 'Kiss Kiss'. Squeals of excitement rang around as he proceeded down the stage with the bear in his arms. Approaching a swooning fan girl from the audience, he serenaded her with song before asking her name and, you guessed it, gave her the cuddly bear.
Surprise#4 Stage Pass
Midway through, five lucky fans reached under their seats to each find a yellow slip of paper, hidden by the star himself, which allowed them to get onstage with him. The game 'One mind with Kim Hyun Joong' saw the happy winner and him taking a photograph together in a pose of her choice.
Surprise#5 Lucky One
As luck would have it, the first participant who got ousted from the stage games with a prize received the biggest prize of all. this extremely lucky fan got to cuddle up next to him in a romantic park bench scene as he sang 'Marry You' and even received a bouquet of red roses.

Kim Hyun Joong fans in Japan will have the opportunity to see the singer live in concert - and for free!
Kim Hyun Joong’s agency, Key East revealed on May 18 that the singer would be holding a free live concert in July.
According to Key East, the live concert was set up as a way to showcase Kim Hyun Joong’s upcoming new single album Heat and will be held on July 15 at Saitama Super Arena.
Among those who purchase Kim Hyun Joong’s Heat’s special package as a pre-order or regular order, 32,000 will be selected from a lottery and receive invitation to the live concert.
The concert will be divided into two parts and Kim Hyun Joong is planning to perform some ten different songs including his new single, Heat.
Kim Hyun Joong is currently in the middle of his Asia fan meeting tour and will hold fan meets in Taiwan on May 18 and 19.
